Jamie R. Dickerson
Senior Accounting Specialist
Jamie Dickerson is the senior accounting specialist for PPA. Ms. Dickerson is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, expense accounts, charge accounts, project expenses, bank reconciliations, and monthly general ledger postings. In addition, she sets up new employees’ benefits and facilitates their acclimation to PPA procedures and maintains all of the accounting files.
Ms. Dickerson came to PPA in 2002 after raising her children and successfully running a folding business, Clean and Quick Linen Service, Inc., for ten years. She purchased the business when it was about to close, and as the first step in renewing viability of the business, she built a customer base from the ground, eventually achieving over 150 ongoing customers. She instituted a linen rental program and delivery route in support of this growth while also managing the daily operations, including machinery maintenance, accounting, and personnel supervision.
