With over 18 years of experience providing assistance to policy makers and practitioners at the federal, state, and local levels, Public Policy Associates, Incorporated. (PPA) can help in every phase of the development and implementation of RSPs in your state.  Our company has conducted extensive, national research on more than 100 sector-focused initiatives and helped launch the first statewide effort to promote regional and sub-regional sector strategies.   

Here are some examples of what we can do to bring successful sector strategies to your state:

• Identify, develop, and implement an appropriate plan of action to take advantage of ARRA funds that can make RSPs an integral part of your state’s workforce and economic development strategy.  
• Provide technical assistance to state and regional conveners for strategic planning related to RSP development and support systems.  
• Provide technical assistance to state and regional RSP organizers to support effective data use, including understanding labor markets, identifying industry sector trends, and mapping workforce development assets.
• Provide technical assistance in establishing appropriate performance measures to assess the effectiveness of RSPs.
• Provide strategic consultation in promoting the use of RSPs across the state and establishing ongoing channels of communication to capture and disseminate best practices.
